Hello! My name is Robert Larson. I am the Owner and Craftsman behind 86 Street Wood Design. I started this business at the beginning of 2020 out of my passion for creating and serving others. With a background in music and high-end home remodeling, I bring a unique set of skills and creative perspective as I create one-of-a-kind custom cabinetry, shelving and storage. I find inspiration in the natural beauty of wood and being able to create pieces that can best serve my clients needs. When I am not creating, I enjoy spending time with my Wife, son, and our two dogs.

I began my business designing and building all kinds of projects out of my basement on 86th Street, and have since grown to need additional space. Now I work on the 3rd floor of an amazing historic warehouse in the West Bottoms in downtown Kansas City.
